Farmerhs-Afric is an agribusiness social enterprise that is tackling rural youth unemployment by crowdfunding agricultural value chain jobs for Africa’s youth. Through crowdfunding, Farmerhs Afric gathers funds from Users (hereafter known as "Supporters ") for farmers and other practitioners in the agricultural value chain space to finance their work (hereafter known as "projects").
Supporters in exchange get an agreed percentage profits from the projects they contribute to. We facilitate the aggregation of the money, monitoring of the projects, provision of relevant updates to Supporters and facilitation of the payment of Supporters. We would also be responsible for anything in the entire process that is reasonably related to the success of the projects.
We refer to those contributing funds as “Supporters” and people who have opted in to only receive updates from the value chain projects as “followers”. Other users of the Service and visitors to the Site are referred to collectively as “Users.” Information about happenings and progress reports on the projects are referred to as “project updates. A ‘’project cycle” refers to a complete project span from beginning to implementation to finishing and payment of supporters.
The Service is offered subject to acceptance of all the terms and conditions contained in these Terms and Conditions of Use and all other operating rules, policies, and procedures that may be published on the Site by the Company, which are incorporated by reference, including operating rules, policies, and procedures of third-party services providers to the Site that are referenced herein. These Terms and Conditions of Use applies to every user of the website.
In addition, some Services offered through the Site may be subject to additional terms and conditions adopted by the Company. Your use of those services is subject to those additional terms and conditions, which are incorporated into these Terms and Conditions of Use by this reference. The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Farmerhs Afric UG (Limited Liability company). The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of The Republic of Germany. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with this or any other product or service without the prior written consent of Farmerhs Afric Limited.
Users shall not directly or indirectly: decipher, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to derive any source code or underlying ideas or algorithms of any part of the Service, except to the extent applicable laws specifically prohibit such restriction modify, translate, or otherwise create derivative works of any part of the Service, copy, rent, lease, distribute, or otherwise transfer any of the rights that you receive hereunder.

These Terms apply to all supporters, users and others who access or use the Service and all applicable laws, and all conditions or policies referenced here (collectively, the “Terms and Conditions of Use”). If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service and that the Company may use any information the Company obtains about you in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Policy.
In using the Platform, you undertake that you shall comply with all applicable laws, including anti-money laundering and anti-corruption laws and regulations. We reserve the right to at any time to suspend or withdraw your use of the Platform when we believe in our sole discretion that the Platform is being used for fraudulent purposes or for any suspicious transactions.
We reserve the right to require additional information and means of identification from a supporter when there is any form of discrepancy in the name of the Supporter and the account to which Farmerhs Afric must make repayments at the end of a project cycle.
In the event of any dispute arising out of the sponsorship of value chain projects by our supporters or the agreement between our Supporters and Farmerhs Afric, the parties shall first seek settlement through mediation and where it fails, the parties shall resort to Arbitration. The Arbitrator shall be jointly appointed by both parties.
Supporting of our agriculture value chain projects comes with risks. As a result, the value chain projects on our website will be insured. Where Farmerhs Afric makes a claim under the insurance policy, and the insurance claim is settled by the insurance company, the benefits of such claims will be passed on to Supporters in the proportion of their contribution in any affected value chain project. In such cases, only the principal amount is paid as the profit/returns on support is not insured.
